Castles in the air - they are so easy to take refuge in. And so easy to build, too.

शब्द चि आमुच्या जीवांचे जीवन | शब्दें वांटूं धन जनलोकां ||
तुका म्हणे पाहा शब्द चि हा देव | शब्द चि गौरव पूजा करुं ||

Evolution by Slogans

Brahman, Thakur, Bania chor,
baki sab hain dee ess phor!

- Kanshi Ram's slogan as he built the DSSSS (forerunner of the BSP) to consolidate the Dalits politically.

Tilak, Tarazu aur Talwar,
inko maro jute char!

- As the BSP came to power as an exclusive Dalit party.

Haathi nahin Ganesh hain,
Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh hain.

- Mayawati as she converted the BSP into an inclusivist party, winning an absolute majority in several years.
