Castles in the air - they are so easy to take refuge in. And so easy to build, too.

Nature - an exchange

Nature's cruelty -
roses get the deadliest
worms, balancing act?
- Max

How curious the rose -
sweet nectar for bees, deadly
leaf-venom for worms.
- me

(An aside: Plants produce the most fatal venoms, worms die by the millions, we survive because our livers die and are reborn a thousand times fighting the venom.)

Wonderful. ah, human existence
seems so precariously poised!
- Max

How curious Nature -
ecstasy for angels,
blazes for devils!
- Max
