Castles in the air - they are so easy to take refuge in. And so easy to build, too.

Exchanges on birds

Conspiring to fill
the world with more bulbul song,
they hop, dash and dance.
- me

The iora dons
a glossy black mantle.
Monsoon approaches.
- Alaka

I love the steadily
increasding impatience
in a koels' call.
- Max

The courting shikras
chase each other.
Monsoon is near.
- Alaka

The pigeon couple
coo mournfully in their nest.
Monsoon is coming.
- me

The mournful pidgeon
coo excites gastric juices
of a hungry cat.
- Max
