Three polems* on Bandra

Ripe jackfruit hangs from
the tree as Bandra-ites pass
below, ignorant.

Bandra-ite pays top
dollar for kimchi though the
tamarind bears fruit.

Bandra-ite complains
about salt in his engine,
builds house called Sea Breeze.

*polem: a portmanteau of poem and polemic, thus, a polemic poem.
