4. Jinal, the second daughter in law, who is a chudail who actually fell in love with her second son. She is the lead of the serial, who can detect that the mother in law is an alien and the first daughter in law is a nagin. Subplots of the serial will include various schemes that she thwarts with her magic powers.
5. Vimal, the second son, who is a nuclear scientist with a second life as a vegetarian chef and wedding ccaterer. He will only have a minor role, but the weddings he caters will give excuses to the actors to dress up.
6. Bhanuben, the real mother in law's husband's sister, who hates her and is always trying to divide the family. She wants him to divorce his wife and marry her friend, even though he's been married for 30 years. She is a tantrik who knows the secret of the chudail. 
7. Bijubhai, the real mother in law's husband, who was her accomplice in the theft of the jewel, but was shot by police and is now comatose. He has brief episodes of waking, where he tries to reveal where it is hidden, but his time is monopolized by his sister, who is also his caregiver.
8. Dhaval, the third son, unmarried, who is an arrogant but charming police officer.
9. Minal, his girlfriend, who is an alien hunter, using secret powers she learned from the Hindu shastras. She keeps trying to impress everyone to approve her marriage to the third son, but is opposed because she is only after his money. The chudail is her ally but the nagin opposes her.

After 200 episodes, the serial will undergo a generational leap, and also be transported to Mars, where the children of the nagin and chudail are locked in a fight over property.
