Persian Poem

This is just a whim of mine, a need to keep in touch with the languages I learnt.

"Scripsisti poesem Persica, eh!"
"Lingua pulcherissima est, ne?"
"Scriptum arabicum est."
"Nimium bellum, non est ne?"
"Id quid codum secretum Al-Qaedae visum est."
"Vere dicistis fabulae! Id prex ad Khodam est."
"Khoda Allah est, integre?"
"Multi sunt nomines Dei."
"Illi viri clamant Allahu-akbar, non clamantne? Codum est, scivi ego!"

"TERRORATOR SIMULANS POETA PERSICA CAPTUS EST"

"Vi estas skribinta poemon Persuja, eh!"
"Lingvo belega estas, ne?"
"Skribado Araba estas."
"Bela estas, ne estas?"
"Gi estas vidita similo al kodo sekreta de Al-Qaedao."
"Vi sercas! Gi estas prego al Khoda."
"Khoda estas Allah, ne?"
"Jes."
"Ili viroj krias Allahu-akbar, ne krias? Estas kodo, mi estas sciinta!"

"TERRORISTO PRETEKSTANTA POETO PERSUJA ESTAS KAPTITO"

"Tu as écrivé un poème Persienne!"
"C'est une belle langue, disputez vous?"
"C'est dans Arabique."
"Belle, n'est-ce pas?"
"C'apparaît comme code secrète du Al-Qaeda."
"Quelle jeste! C'est un prière à Khoda."
"Khoda est Allah, vraiment?"
"Oui."
"Ces hommes, ils crient Allahu-akbar, non? C'est un code, j'ai su!"

"TERRORISTE PRETENDANT COMME UN POET PERSIEN EST CAPTE"

Okay, here is the plain vanilla English version:-

“You write Persian poetry, eh!”
“Beautiful language isn’t it?”
“It’s Arabic script.”
“Quite pretty, isn’t it?”
“That’s what secret Al-Qaeda codes look like.”
“Stuff and nonsense. It is a prayer to Khoda!”
“Khoda is Allah, right?”
“Yes.”
“Those guys shout Allahu-Akbar, don’t they? It’s a code. I knew it.”

Oh Raamesh! What does all that mean? The links don't help either.

But the prayer is very poigant. Very touching.

The 55er is in Latin, so I can understand you not understanding it. 'twas just a personal whim. But I did give a link to an English version of the same 55er. I didn't want to spoil the Latin by including the English alongside.

Thanks for the prayer comments!
